In return for hard work and dedication, our goal is to provide a safe, productive, and enjoyable workplace for every employee.FLSA Status: ExemptSummary Monitors and tracks usage and repair of tools and equipment, orders new equipment, or repair work as needed by performing the following duties personally.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Organize and document all required maintenance records for cranes, hoists, forklifts, tractors, and fleet vehicles.
Focus on preventative maintenance.
Negotiates with vendors for new tool orders and repairs for equipment in the plant.
Monitor inventory of all tools and equipment to prevent theft and loss.
Investigate abuse and excessive damage to tools and equipment to control costs to the facility.
Manage the log of tools assigned to each employee to prevent loss.
Qualifications
Problem solving skills.
Welding and Electrical experience preferred.
3+ years of relevant experience in maintenance
Knowledge of a variety of mechanical systems
Makes safety a priority at all times
