Description Job Description:We are currently seeking a highly-skilled and reliable bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all facets of our company's financial operations. You will create and analyze financial reports, ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments.Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.

Bring the books to the trial balance stage.

Perform partial checks of the posting process.

Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.

Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.

Prepare financial statements in time.

Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.

Reconcile accounts when needed.

Maintain internal control systems.

Manage the company’s liabilities (e.g. insurance premiums)

Review and analyze financial reports for management.

Ensure compliance with all internal processes.

Liaise with tax accountant for the preparation and lodgment of all necessary tax returns.

Maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proven bookkeeping experience.

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.

Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.

Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or any related field.

Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.

Excellent data entry skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Professional demeanor.
