 Manage and actively participate in the monthly financial close process for all corporate entities and several practices. This includes ensuring all transactions incurred are properly recorded, preparing, and reviewing adjusting journal entries, financial statement preparation, and balances sheet reconciliations.Prepare monthly financials package and covenants calculation for lenders.Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures in keeping with GAAP and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.Focus on improving system efficiencies and simplification of business practices and companywide standardization.Prepare regulatory, statutory reports, governmental surveys, and census.Assist with year-end processes including audit and cash to accrual conversion.Manages a team of accountantsParticipate in and lead special projects as required.
