Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in Boca Raton, Florida. This role primarily focuses on medical billing within the healthcare industry, without any specific software requirement as training will be provided.Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of medical bills to insurance agencies including agencies like Medicaid and Humana Maintenance of clear and updated customer records Thorough understanding of insurance verification and authorization processes Handling of ICD coding for medical billing purposes Regular monitoring of customer accounts and taking appropriate actions as required Display of working knowledge of authorization, identifying old authorizations, and the need for new ones Processing of customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Handling medical billing for diverse services including day care and experienced services Utilization of skills in accounts receivable and billing functions Ensuring medical coverage for customers as per the established protocols.Requirements Proficiency in Medical Billing Experience with Billing Functions Knowledge of Medical Billing procedures and best practices Familiarity with Medicaid rules and regulations Ability to handle Insurance Authorization procedures Proficiency in Medical Coding Formal certification is highly preferred Experience with ICD Codes Understanding of Medical Coverage policies and proceduresRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
