Description We are in search of a Medical Scheduler to join our non-profit organization located in Boca Raton, Florida, United States. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the medical scheduling function. Your main duties will involve coordinating medical procedures, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth communication between different parties.Responsibilities: Coordinate various aspects of stem cell product collection including scheduling and documentation. Serve as the bridge between our organization and external entities such as donors, physicians, donor centers, and registries. Handle the scheduling of donor physical exams, injection procedures, and collection dates in collaboration with the Apheresis Center, registries, physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistant. Distribute donor documents through various channels like email and fax. Prepare and maintain donor charts and other documents. Ensure timely submission of data collection forms into relevant systems. Adhere to internal Standard Operating Procedures and external regulations when performing assigned duties. Communicate vital information effectively and promptly, and escalate issues to leadership as necessary. Assist and support other team members in their duties. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while keeping complete and accurate records. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience in data entry Excellent customer service skills Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls Strong ability to schedule appointments effectively Experience in answering inbound calls Good at email correspondence Must be able to work in a non-profit environment Ability to work collaboratively with a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively High level of professionalism and integrity Must be able to respect and maintain confidentiality Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
