Working knowledge of financial statement preparation and presentation
Reconcile balance sheets and accruals along with variance analyses
Supervise (Senior Accountant) or Support (Staff Accountant) month-end and year-end close process
Assist with external audits
Knowledge and exposure to GAAP, including the ability to research and GAAP principles
qualifications:
3+ years of accounting experience working in public accounting and/or mid size corporation
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
CPA is preferred
Insurance industry experience is a plus
