Provide patient care andassistwith activities of daily living whilemaintainingsafety and security of the facility.
Anticipate and respond to escalating behaviors,utilizingde-escalationtechniquesand displaying neutral emotions as needed.
Work collaboratively with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to implement patient treatment programs and promote development of daily living skills.
Complete required documentation, including patient observations and vital signs, whilemaintainingconfidentiality of patient records.
Continuouslymaintainprofessional development through in-service education, workshops, conferences, and self-study.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation
High School diploma of GEDrequired.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
Experience
One (1) year direct care experience in a mental health setting preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
Must be able to obtain andmaintainCPR and CPI certification.
