SUMMARY:Kelly Services in partnership with Bausch Health Companies is currently hiring a Manufacturing Operator for a Fortune 500 leader in the medical manufacturing industry located in Clearwater, FL.The goal of this position is to create small, surgically-inserted intraocular lenses according to production specifications and standards. The lenses are designed to correct cataracts in eye patients.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs various lens fabrication and inspections duties to include lens machining, lenspolishing, finished production inspections and primary packaging Ensure product meets all acceptable criteria per SOPs Follow all FDA/CGMP regulations regarding traceability, and safety procedures Support, encourage and participate in team related activities; report ideas or suggestionsto supervisor Assist in training manufacturing associates using prescribed training methods and tools asassigned by supervisor/management Report unusual conditions and problems to supervisor and manufacturing lead; practicegood housekeepingIn addition to the listed duties, the associate is normally expected to perform other similar related duties as assigned.Other Duties and Responsibilities include: Performing job responsibilities to the best of an individual’s abilities and at the requiredskill levels Knowing and observing B+L work/safety rules, policies and SOP’s Protecting B+L assets and treating fellow employees with dignity and respect inaccordance with the principles of Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity and aworking environment free from harassmentEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or equivalentQUALIFICATIONS: One or more years of manufacturing-related work experience; or equivalent combined ofeducation and experience IOL manufacturing experience preferred Knowledge of clean-rooms specific to proper clean-room behavior preferredAs a Kelly Services employee, you will receive great perks, including: Weekly electronic pay via direct deposit or pay card Service bonus/Holiday pay Optional health insurance Training via our exclusive employee website, mykelly.comSHIFTS/PAY:12-hour shift with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
