Job Description SummaryThe Senior Tendering Manager person will oversee the team of tendering leaders across the US and Canada - responsible for on time quotes submissions to the customers and ensuring all the processes and policies are well followed. High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities

Manage, direct and monitor the overall performance of the tendering team to obtain maximum efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organization.

Ensure effective liaison, support and assistance between tender process department and rest of organization.

Maintain and improve mechanisms for measuring tender process and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities.

Reporting (content and format as agreed) on a monthly basis or as otherwise agreed.

Utilize agreed systems to manage the tender process functions, analysis and documenting.

Developing plans for streamlining tender processes.

Support to all other departments with tender-related issues.

Perform recruitment, set action and targets, appraise and manage performance, development, coaching and general support of all team members to ensure targets are met.

Assist in the development and preparation of the organization’s tender process strategy and general business planning.

Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review.

Set an example for team members of commitment, tender process activities, work ethics and habits and personal character.

Define market price levels, evaluate opportunities’ risk, manage timely delivery and accuracy of offers, follow-up on offers and help to negotiate contracts with customers.

Be able to read, understand and negotiate complex contractual terms as part of a customer RFQ.

Be able to draw up a complex offer, technically and commercially.

Use Salesforce (CRM) and SAP (ERP) as the major tools for tendering, work tracking and reporting.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience in a technical role.

Minimum of 8 years in managing large complex offers in parallel with small and intermediate offers on a daily basis.

Minimum 3 years of proven people leader experience

Desired Characteristics

Experience in the High Voltage transmission market.

Knowledge of global environment is mandatory.

Fluent English mandatory; French language is an advantage.

Ability to work in an international environment.

Stress Tolerance related to many deadlines to be respected.

Team management experience or experience in a leadership role.

Team player, adaptability, autonomy, resourcefulness and focus on customer service and problem solving.

Strong organizational skills, analytical and synthesis, and proactive leadership.

L’équipe de service GE Vernova – Power Transmission est à la recherche d’un Responsable d’Équipe d’Appels d'Offres pour les Services d'Équipements de Transmission Haute Tension en Amérique du Nord.Plus spécifiquement, il devra :· Gérer, diriger et surveiller les performances globales de l'équipe des appels d'offres afin d'obtenir une efficacité maximale, une qualité, un service et une rentabilité optimale pour l'organisation (équipe de 5 à 7 personnes).· Assurer une liaison efficace, un soutien et une assistance entre le département des appels d'offres et le reste de l'organisation.· Maintenir et améliorer les mécanismes de mesure du processus d'appel d'offres et diffuser les feedbacks aux entités internes appropriées.· Générer des rapports de performance sur une base mensuelle.· Utiliser des systèmes convenus pour gérer les fonctions, l'analyse et la documentation du processus d'appel d'offres.· Développer des plans pour rationaliser les processus d'appels d'offres.· Soutenir tous les autres départements sur les questions liées aux appels d'offres.· Effectuer le recrutement, fixer des objectifs et des actions, évaluer et gérer la performance, le développement, le coaching et le soutien général de tous les membres de l'équipe pour assurer l'atteinte des objectifs.· Aider au développement et à la préparation de la stratégie de processus d'appel d'offres de l'organisation et à la planification générale des activités commerciales.· Déléguer l'autorité et la responsabilité à l'équipe avec supervision et revue.· Donner l'exemple aux membres de l'équipe en matière d'engagement, d'éthique de travail, d'habitudes et de caractère personnel dans les activités liées aux appels d'offres.· Définir les niveaux de prix du marché, évaluer les risques des opportunités, gérer la livraison en temps opportun et l'exactitude des offres, suivre les offres et aider à négocier les contrats avec les clients.· Être capable de lire, comprendre et négocier des termes contractuels complexes dans le cadre d'une demande de devis client (RFQ).· Être capable d'élaborer une offre complexe, à la fois sur le plan technique et commercial.· Utiliser SalesForce (CRM) et SAP (ERP) comme principaux outils pour les appels d'offres, le suivi du travail et les rapports.Exigences· Baccalauréat de préférence dans un domaine technique, ou expérience équivalente dans un rôle technique.· Expérience avérée dans la préparation d'offres complexes à grande échelle simultanément avec des offres de petite et moyenne taille quotidiennement.· Anglais courant obligatoire ; la connaissance du français est un avantage.· Esprit d'équipe, adaptabilité, autonomie, ingéniosité et orientation vers le service client et la résolution de problèmes.· Fortes compétences organisationnelles, analytiques et de synthèse, ainsi qu'un leadership proactif.Candidat idéal· Expérience dans le marché de la transmission haute tension.· Capacité à travailler dans un environnement international.· Tolérance au stress lié au respect de nombreux délais.· Expérience en gestion d'équipe ou expérience dans un rôle de leadership.PLEASE submit with ENGLISH written resume for review and consideration.Additional InformationGE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
