As a Sr Environmental Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace in Clearwater, FL, you will play a critical role in addressing environmental challenges and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will oversee and manage environmental programs, implement best practices, and promote environmental sustainability. You will report directly to our HSE Director and work in-person at our plant in Clearwater, FL.Key Responsibilities:
Implement company HSE standards with a focus on Environmental Management Systems.
Provide technical assistance for field manufacturing operations.
Conduct job site compliance reviews for permit compliance and standard verifications.
Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and Corporate Health Safety, Environmental, and Security guidelines, including air, hazardous and solid waste, wastewater, stormwater, SPCC, EPCRA, CERCLA, and management systems.
Prepare and submit required Regulatory Agency reports (e.g., Toxic Release Inventory, Annual Emissions Report).
Prepare routine multi-media reports for submission to agencies, trade associations, and the company (e.g., Discharge Monitoring Reports, Toxic Release Inventories, Tier II reports, Solid waste reports, Title V Compliance Certification & Deviation reports, NESHAP reports, Greenhouse Gas reports, Hazardous Waste reports, Energy and sustainability metric reports).
Conduct waste characterization, hazardous waste satellite and main accumulations inspections, waste profile management, and develop and track shipping papers.
Manage and champion local workflows, Environmental data, and Environmental reporting.
Act as an effective coach and role model for production leaders; lead environmental training.
Drive standard work for environmental processes and deploy environmental initiatives.
Share best practices among location groups and other similar manufacturing locations.
Manage risk processes for environmental exposures.
Able to work onsite Monday-Friday.

3+ years of experience in Environmental compliance, inspections, and reporting.
High school diploma or equivalent.
WE VALUE
Degree in a HSE related field.
Strong knowledge of environmental permits and waste management regulations such as RCRA, NPDES, etc.
Hazardous waste management experience.
Leadership and influencing skills.
