Reporting to the Associate Registrar for Enrollment Operations, The Sr. Program Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to coordinate and oversee the Transcript Correction process, UOnline Program, Enrollment Certification, National Student Clearinghouse and readmission processes. In addition, this position supervises and coordinates the hiring process for the student workers for receptionist coverages of the department. This position is also responsible for several high level processes in the office, including, but not limited to, quarterly student system testing in Highpoint CX and Canelink, UMX Enrollment for new and transfer students, creating and providing all schools/colleges with enrollment permission pins for every class per term.Coordinates and works together with the Associate Registrar, Assistant Registrar and supports their efforts to ensure staff performance excel as they learn new systems and critical departmental and university wide information. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing operational calendar information to other departments and assisting with the creation of academic calendars and overseeing the enrollment process for audit classes. The Sr. Program Coordinator provides support to the Sr. Registration Specialists rotating through Cane Central during the resolution of escalated cases in Canes Central/Salesforce system, and provides assistance and overview to complex Parchment Solutions transcript requests and complications including transcript orders from the Law School. This position is also responsible for coordinating and sending both scheduled and ad hoc communication to student workers, and staff throughout the academic year.An employee in this position demonstrates familiarity with University policies and procedures and ensures program compliance. This position requires high level of responsibility as well as independence in decision making. Also, profound knowledge of all subject matters aforementioned in the Enrollment Operations department is required from the Sr. Program Coordinator.Responsibilities:

Acts as a liaison to program constituents both within the University of Miami and externally.

Delivers educational content to program constituents both within the University of Miami/Enrollment Operation, Cane Central and externally

Facilitates collaboration between different schools, community agencies, and/or academic support units throughout the University.

Coordinates the collection, compilation, and analysis of all Enrollment Operations activities and transcript data.

Responsible for coordinating coverage and monitoring queues for Cane Central, Transcripts Corrections, UOnline, Enrollment Certification, and National Student Clearinghouse.

Responsible for training of newly hired staff and training maintenance/update for current staff.

Drafts comprehensive, statistical, and narrative program reports and evaluations, and monitors program effectiveness, making suggestion for revisions when appropriate.

Coordinates the scheduling/rotation of Registration Specialists to ensure coverage in all Enrollment Operations functions.

Responsible for creating and updating training manuals on all different systems.

Drafts and initiates correspondence, develops agendas, maintains calendars, assists in accumulation of reference materials, and coordinates and attends department meetings.

Responsible for hiring, training, supervising and coordinating coverage for the reception area.

Analyzing and re-creating old transcripts to the new system inclusive of non-requested records.

Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Responsible for completing quarterly student system testing in Highpoint CX and Canelink/ PeopleSoft.

Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Provides support to the Enrollment Assistant Registrar and Associate Registrar in special projects.

Assist with department communication sequences.

All other duties and projects as assigned.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor degree preferred.

Salary:

$45,000 to $55,000 commensurate with experience.
