Junior Systems Administrator

Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure, Group Policy, and Exchange. As a Junior System Administrator, you will assist in the management and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

Assist in the administration and maintenance of Azure cloud services.

Manage and configure Group Policies to enforce security settings and streamline user experience.

Support and maintain Microsoft Exchange environments, including mailbox creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.

Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and backups.

Assist in the documentation of IT procedures and configurations.

Provide technical support to end-users and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.

Collaborate with senior IT staff on projects and initiatives to improve system performance and security.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in system administration.

Requirements

Proven experience in Azure administration, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.

Strong knowledge of Group Policy management and configuration.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange administration and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with Windows Server environments and Active Directory.

Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, MCSA) are a plus.
