Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the construction/contractor industry in Davie, Florida. The role will be based on-site, and will require the specialist to handle various accounting tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain accurate customer credit records Resolve customer inquiries proactively Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action Utilize accounting software systems, such as Viewpoint Vista, for various tasks Implement account coding for maintaining organized records Conduct auditing activities as needed Manage automated clearing house (ACH) transactions Perform enterprise resource planning (ERP) functions Execute accounts payable (AP) duties and accrual accounting tasks. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in account coding Experience with accounting software systems Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in using Concur Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to perform a range of accounting functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Understanding of accrual accounting Ability to conduct auditing Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) Experience with Viewpoint Vista software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
