We are seeking a Live-In Caregiver for a Residential Assisted Living facility in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Our peaceful and supportive environment accommodates up to 7 residents, and our home is very clean and welcoming.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:
Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care
Assisting residents with transfers, mobility, activities, and exercises
Assisting residents with medication Self-administration/ reminder
Engaging in conversation and offering companionship to our residents
Preparing light meals and light housekeeping
Qualifications: The ideal applicant should:
Pass a Level II background check, be legally authorized to work in the U.S., be open to training, and maintain up-to-date certifications
Hold current CPR and First Aid certification, MedTech certificate, and a recent TB screening with a Communicable Disease Statement (physical)
Preferably have prior experience working with elderly individuals
Possess active listening skills along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Salary:
$15/hr. - W2
