Medical assistant needed for busy family practice office; front office experience is a must. Hours are 9:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Expected Responsibilities are as follows:
Take vitals
Obtain patient medical history
Set up EKGs
Assist physician with minor in-office surgical procedure
Verify insurance
Collect insurance copays/deductibles
Enter charges for services rendered
Answer phones
Schedule/verify patient's appointments
