Halifax Paving, family-owned and operated since 1955, has a proven track record of providing high-quality asphalt and site work services in the Eastern/Northern Central Florida areas. We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable person to fill a skilled laborer position on our Punchout Crew.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Moving, securing, loading, or unloading materials.
Shoveling, raking, etc. to dig, fill and level ground.
Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the job site/assignment.
Clean up, punch list items, etc. as needed.
Setting up lane closures, flagging and directing traffic when necessary
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Roller, loader, broom or skid steer experience, a plus!
Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees; be a part of the team.
Must remain flexible as specific assignments change.
Frequently required to sit, climb, and pull/push. Occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Salary will be determined depending on the qualifications of candidates who exceed the minimum requirements as outlined within the job description.
