We are looking for a landscape maintenance crew leader. We service all type of property's including individuals resident to hoa's and shopping centers. We need a crew leader that can manage equipment, work load and have knowledge of general horticulture.
All aspect listed below must be meet to qualify for this opening.
-Must have valid Florida drivers license with a good past driving record
-Own a vehicle for transportation to and from our shop located in Deland
-Able to use tablet for daily task
-Able to maintain truck and equipment (changing blades, checking oil etc)
-Knowledge of common plants including names and proper care
-Experience spraying round-up
-Able to manage crew and work load
-Able to talk with client in English and able to address client needs accordingly
-Clean appearance and drug free
-Willing to pull weeds and pick up trash
-Must have no less than 2 years experience as a crew leader
-Legal to work and live in the U.S.A.
Shift starts at 7:30am Mon-Fri and is 8-9 hrs a day with 30 min non paid lunch
As a company we provide all aspect of landscaping. So at times you may be required to assist with other work including but not limited to sod, pavers, mulch, etc
Compensation for this position is based on experience and mainly performance. Willing to pay above market wages for a proper crew leader. That can meet management and clients expectations. Full pay will be after a 90 day probation period.
