We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Manager to join our team and help us maintain our high standards in shipping and logistics
Job Description:
As a Shipping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily shipping operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely shipment of our products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire shipping process from order receipt to final delivery
- Coordinate and manage shipping schedules and logistics
- Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
- Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve any shipping issues
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Implement and maintain shipping policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with invoicing and QuickBooks
- Ability to wrap pallets and create shipping labels
- Experienced in running a Shopify and eCommerce store
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in logistics/supply chain management is a plus
