Mortgage company located in the heart of Ormond Beach is seeking Mortgage Loan Originators to join its growing team. The responsibilities and minimum qualifications include:

Responsibilities:
⢠Attract new mortgage loan applicants by developing relationships, specifically in the real estate community and making sales calls to prospective clients.
⢠Coordinate, create, track, and distribute marketing materials as needed in order to generate leads and loan production.
⢠Provide applicants with information regarding the loan application process.
⢠Prepare home mortgage loan applications, compile all required documentation from borrower, and assist in determining appropriate loan programs [FHA, VA, Conventional, etc].
⢠Pre-qualify potential loan applicants by analyzing credit and financial background and calculate repayment risk from information and documentation received from borrowers.
⢠Follow up on processing the loan by attaining additional applicant information, when necessary.
⢠Answer questions relating to rates, locks, loan application process, and provide proactive status updates throughout the loan process.
⢠Establish the rate with the borrower verbally and in writing prior to settlement.
⢠Resolve any customer questions and disputes in a prompt and tactful manner; review and report complaints from customers and recommend corrective action to management.
⢠Perform other duties as assigned.
⢠Flexible hours; able to work remotely.
Qualifications:
⢠High School Diploma or equivalent.
⢠State-specific MLO license PREFERRED, but not required to start.
⢠Must be motivated, driven, and outgoing.
⢠Sales experience a plus.
