Performs repairs on heavy equipment and minimum road calls for Trucks & Trailers.
Qualified applicants must be able to perform repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of drivetrain, power-train, HVAC, brakes (air and hydraulic), electrical systems, engine performance, and diagnostics
Must have experience on Iron Worker
Must have experience drill and tap materials up to 3 inch mid steel
Pipe bender
Welding and Hydraulics experience preferred
Reads and interprets ECR's (equipment condition reports) and/or repair orders, communicates with supervisor and/or operator for clarification of problems. May discuss preventive techniques with Fleet Manager to minimize future repairs.
Estimate time and materials required to perform major repairs.
Maintain accurate, updated preventive maintenance records.
Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties.
Ensure equipment, and tools are in safe operating condition.
Requirements:
One year of heavy equipment diesel maintenance experience
