In search of a seasoned Commercial/Residential Electrician.
Electrician Description (not limited to):
Install, test, repair or replace electrical equipment, circuits, controls, devices, and lighting fixtures.
Isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment by using testing instruments such as meggers, phase rotation, circuit tracers, underground locators, voltage, ohm & amp type testers.
Install switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems.
Install or repair exterior site lighting.
Install conduit inside partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
Terminate wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other component
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting
- Perform electrical work on new construction, renovation, and building projects
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Install and program logic controllers and other automation systems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of electrical systems
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or similar role
- Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
- Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment
- Familiarity with logic controllers and automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team member
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience as a commercial electrician
