Description Robert Half has an outstanding opportunity for a short-term contract / temporary Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a premier company. Serving as the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. An individual in this position will need a high aptitude for computer software, be mindful of details and a self motivator. Located in Daytona Beach, Florida, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary position.Key responsibilities
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Implement full-cycle A/P
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department Requirements
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Knowledge of Form 1099
Strong familiarity with Enter Vendor Invoices
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
