job detailsWe are looking to fill a part-time position in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. A leading tire distribution company, where you'll help handle new and used tires in the warehouse.Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and organize new and used tires in the warehouse
Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing tires for shipment
Safely load and unload tires from trucks and store them properly in the warehouse
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Assist with inventory management and record-keeping
Follow all safety protocols related to handling tires and warehouse operations
salary: $14 - $14.01 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities
Receiving & Inspection: Unload and inspect incoming shipments of new and used tires, ensuring they match delivery orders and are free from defects or damage.
Inventory Management: Organize and maintain tire inventory, including labeling and storing tires in designated areas to optimize warehouse space.
Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare tires for shipment according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
Handling Tires: Safely handle and move tires using appropriate equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts, adhering to safety guidelines.
Quality Control: Check for wear and damage on used tires, and follow proper procedures for disposal or refurbishing as necessary.
Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that walkways are free of debris and that tires are stacked or stored securely.
The essential functions of this role include:
