We are seeking a full-time Foster Care Licensing Coordinator to join our FL NYAP team.Certified as Child Welfare Licensing Counselor FCB (CWLC) or (CWCM) required.Position SummaryThe Licensing Supervisor is responsible for implementing a system of quality assurance to ensure compliance with all agency foster home licensing policies and procedures covering Broward, Lee, Dade and Palm Beach County. The candidate must have flexibility with evenings and weekends as needed.Working At NYAP

RESPONSIBILITIESThe Licensing Supervisor will perform duties including, but not limited to:

Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission, values, and philosophies.

Implement a system of quality assurance to ensure compliance with all agency foster home licensing and re-certification policies and procedures.

Ensure NYAP is meeting the mandatory state agency foster home licensure and compliance requirements.

Develop and successfully implement an ongoing foster home requirement plan in accordance with the annual operating plan and budget.

Serve as a liaison between NYAP and state and/or regulatory agencies regarding foster home licensing, re-cortication and/or accreditation.

Supervise or collaborate with the NYAP Licensing Coordinators, Treatment Coordinators and support staff regarding foster home licensing and certification procedures.

Review and update a semi-annual foster home inventory assessment checklist.

Ensure the completion of quarterly audit reviews to ensure NYAP and agency licensure and respective agency accreditation standards are met.

Represent NYAP in local and state organizations and conduct in-service training as it pertains to foster home licensing, the re-certification process, and other topics as directed.

Attend statewide and regional staff meetings, staff training programs, and individual meetings as regularly scheduled with the supervisor.

Maintain regular monthly telephone contact with NYAP foster parents with no youth in placement to review current status, family situation, and continued interest in foster care.

Receive and review placement referrals, phone calls, and emails from the lead child welfare agency.

Maintain bed availability logs and communicate with the lead child welfare agency.

Review and sign licensing home studies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or other related human service field

Candidate must have experience in supervising staff. (preferably in foster care licensing.)

Certified as Child Welfare Licensing Counselor FCB (CWLC) or (CWCM) required.

5 years’ experience in the area of youth services, with direct experience in child welfare and foster care licensing.

A valid professional license as required by state law and/or regulatory bodies.

Obtain and maintain 100,000/300,000 Bodily Injury Car Insurance as required by agency.

Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
