These Test Design Engineers will be working out of a new government facility, in which Boeing will be establishing a highly technical, test and training cyber team. The NCRC's mission is to provide cybersecurity Test and Evaluation (T&E) services to acquisition programs and Cyber Mission Force (CMF) training, exercises, and mission rehearsals. This role within the NCR will be critical in cyber threat emulation, penetration testing and training exercises.Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Product Security Capability is a growing multi-disciplinary cybersecurity engineering organization that is responsible for the security and resiliency of our products, platforms, and services to the NCR. You will become a key member of this highly technical evaluation test and training team.BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Experienced and Senior level Product Security Test Design Engineer.Position Responsibilities Include:
Develop, implement, and sustain product security and resiliency throughout the requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle
Develop and enhance system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements.
Ensure security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product: design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support
Define and identify product security requirements for suppliers of components and subsystems for integration into Boeing products and services
Coordinate with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry to identify risks and improve industry and regulatory security standards and requirements for programs and interfacing systems
Conduct research and development activities resulting in innovative solutions
Advise customers on maintaining product security and certification, including security consequences of modifying products and services
Minimal domestic travel as needed
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
3+ years of experience directing and executing projects in accordance with stakeholder objectives and schedules
1+ years of experience directing experience working with defensive and offensive cyber tools and tactics or conducting cyber exercises
Ability to build and assess network and software systems architectures
Willing to travel domestically as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Experience with Cyber Network Operations / Cyber Defense Operations or conducting cyber exercises, including planning and coordination with end users, event sponsors, and partner infrastructure providers.
Experience in software development, programming languages, operating systems, networks, and IT concepts.
Experience translating user requirements into actionable engineering tasks
Demonstrated experience in technical writing and oral communication for soliciting goals and requirements, communicating design decisions, and informing senior leadership
Experience in defensive and offensive Cyber Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures.
Experience working with Operational Test & Evaluation.
Experience working with DoD cyber exercise planning organizations
Proven ability to design cyber training events, including decomposing training objectives.
Understanding and appropriate application of network sensors and traffic generation tools for training cyber environments.
Deep understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape (technologies, threat actors, attack types, and categories of attack)
