American Home Capital is a real estate finance & property management company that owns rental properties nationwide. We are looking for a PART-TIME Accounts Receivable Manager to work from home approximately 15-20 hours per week. Our rent collection process is fully automated but there are always delinquencies that need some attention. The ideal candidate will be familiar with real estate and have exceptional computer and communication skills to call on our tenants, develop a payment plan and then keep track of it.

This is a remote - work from home position so you will need to have dedicated space for an un-interrupted, professional home office. Ideally, you should live in Palm Beach or Broward County because there will be occasional in-office meetings in the Boca Raton area.

This is a remote position / work at home opportunity and is ideal for a Mom or anyone that needs flexibility with their hours and schedule.

POSITION TITLE:

- ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Processing rent payments and tenant invoices within our accounting system.

- Negotiating payment plans on delinquent tenant accounts.

- Monitoring accounts for outstanding balances and follow up on past due invoices.

- Reconciling tenant accounts and resolving any discrepancies or billing errors.

- Responding to tenant inquiries regarding invoices and payment status in a timely and professional manner.

- Preparing monthly reports and analysis for management.

- Providing support for other accounts receivable activities as needed.

THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

- Exceptional computer, communication and telephone skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

- Ability to multi-task while working independently and as part of a team.

- Be detail oriented, meet deadlines and follow through on commitments.

- Ability to learn quickly and work carefully!

- Love real estate, investing and helping people.

REQUIREMENTS:

- RentManager, PropertyWare, Buildium or Yardi property management software experience is a big plus!

- Strong telephone and negotiation skills.

- Excellent written and technical skills.

- A positive, competent “I can do this” attitude is necessary.

HOURS & PAY:

- Hours are 15-20 hours per week.

- Pay is $20.00 per hour.
