Seeking an organized, detail-oriented office manager for a high-rise condominium building in Fort Lauderdale central beach area. Will manage day-to-day accounting input activities, recordkeeping, and support resident requests/issues. Must have strong organizational ability and possess good communication skills.

Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of rules and regulations surrounding property management.

Working knowledge of Florida Condominium Chapter 718 Statutes.

Full understanding of the financial aspects of property management.

Ability to act proactively and independently.

Excellent written, verbal and personal communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of building maintenance requirements.

Self-directed, motivated and comfortable working in a collaborative environment with the board of directors, maintenance and security staffs.

Proficiency in MS Office, Google Drive, and other software technologies.

CAM License Preferred.

High school diploma required; Assoc. degree or higher in business/accounting, or or related field preferred.

Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day operations of the property, working with the maintenance staff and security to implement maintenance schedules, inspection of common areas, arrange appropriate follow-up actions.

Work with a wide range of professionals, including state and local authorities, vendors, contractors, owners, tenants etc. for inspections, closings, obtaining contractor bids and/or conducting interviews for prospective owners or tenants.

Work closely with the board of directors, as well as the accounting firm, on accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statements, budgeting, audits, closings and payroll to ensure the accuracy and maintenance of finances.

Preparation of documentation for meetings, including board meetings, budget meetings, annual meetings and elections.

Manage relationships with owners, including resident inquiries and resolving issues, while enforcing the condo’s governing documents and rules and regulations.

File and maintain all records for easy retrieval.

Maintain Association’s website.

Prepare a detailed monthly Manager’s Report.
