Final Expense Customer Retention Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time-9am-6pm M-F no weekends or holidays

We are seeking a dedicated Final Expense Customer Retention Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing policyholders, ensuring continued satisfaction, and minimizing policy lapses. You will proactively engage with customers to address their concerns, offer policy enhancements, and provide exceptional service to retain their business.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively reach out to policyholders to discuss renewal options, payment concerns, and coverage adjustments.
Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure policy retention.
Handle inbound and outbound calls related to policy renewals, reinstatements, and customer inquiries.
Educate clients on their final expense policies, benefits, and payment options.
Address policyholder concerns, resolve billing issues, and process policy changes.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-ups in CRM systems.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Meet or exceed customer retention goals and KPIs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in insurance, customer retention, or sales preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle objections and negotiate solutions effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of final expense insurance products is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve in a fast pace work environment.
