Position Overview:
The Preschool Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our preschool during the change of ownership. This role requires someone with strong leadership skills, flexibility, and a deep understanding of early childhood education, who can ensure a seamless continuation of the preschool's mission, curriculum, and community engagement while navigating the transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the preschool staff during the transition, ensuring that staff morale remains high and that the quality of education and care is maintained.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the preschool, ensuring consistency and alignment with the academy’s values and vision.
Act as the key point of contact for parents, providing reassurance and clear communication regarding the transition process.
Work closely with the new ownership team to ensure smooth integration of new policies, procedures, and practices.
Support and implement any changes required by the new ownership while maintaining the preschool’s standards and educational philosophy.
Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards during the transition.
Help facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to support their growth and adapt to any changes that may arise.
Maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for both children and staff.
Provide regular updates to the new ownership regarding the progress of the preschool during the transition period.
