Position Overview
The Revit Specialist plays a key role in supporting the design and architectural teams by utilizing Revit software to create, modify, and manage architectural models and construction documents. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and proficiency in Revit, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for the design process. The ideal candidate will contribute to the successful execution of architectural projects and collaborate closely with other team members to ensure high-quality designs and project delivery.
Position Responsibilities
Revit Model Management: Develop, maintain, and manage Revit models for various architectural and design projects. Ensure all models are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with project requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to integrate and coordinate the various components of the building design using Revit.
Construction Documentation: Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and schedules using Revit software, ensuring all documents adhere to project standards and deadlines.
Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks on Revit models to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the models.
3D Modeling & Visualization: Use Revit’s 3D modeling capabilities to help visualize design concepts, providing realistic renderings for presentations and stakeholder meetings.
Software Updates & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with Revit software updates and innovations, integrating new tools and features into the workflow to enhance productivity and project quality.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in Revit (both 2D and 3D) with extensive experience creating detailed models, construction documentation, and renderings.
Experience in architecture or design with at least 3 years working in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or real estate sectors.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and other design tools.
Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and material specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
