Description We are offering a contract-to-hire opportunity for a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist in the education industry. This role is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and involves significant interaction with various schools and corporate entities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing high volume invoicing and light administrative duties, primarily assisting in the accounts payable process.Responsibilities: Assist in the accounts payable process for 96 schools and 19 corporate entities. Utilize 2 and 3-way matching for invoice processing. Code invoices accurately, ensuring proper entry into the system. Handle check runs and ACHs efficiently. Manage some intercompany transactions/payments. Process a high volume of invoices regularly. Perform light administrative duties as required. Utilize software like NetSuite and Excel to perform tasks effectively. Use Excel formulas such as vlookups & pivot tables to manage data. Enter vendor invoices and manage invoice approvals. Conduct invoice coding and reconciliation, managing payable invoices and purchase orders. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with NetSuite and Netsuite CRM Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite Technologies Proficient in Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel Experience in Coding Invoices and Code Invoices Ability to Enter Invoices and Enter Vendor Invoices Experience in Invoice Approvals and Invoice Coding Familiarity with Invoice Payment and Invoice reconciliation Experience in handling Monthly Invoices and Outstanding Invoices Knowledge of Payable Invoices and Purchase Orders Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field Proven track record in similar roles within the education industry Excellent communication and organizational skills Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
