What the Associate General Counsel will do:
The Legal Department's Associate General Counsel is in charge of managing a number of fairly routinely allocated legal projects and reports directly to the Executive General Counsel.
Associate General Counsel Duties:


  • Offer legal advice on a range of topics;
  • Ensure legal goals are reached;
  • Stay current on legislative changes that may have an impact on the business and its affiliates;
  • Litigate First-Party insurance litigation.
  • Develops oral and written guidance and delivers suggestions to management while conducting legal research and investigating fairly regular claims and defenses.
  • Conducts legal research and drafts legal memoranda for the general counsel.
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Requirements of the Associate General Counsel:

  • Work experience in a law firm setting
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Problem-solving and analysis
  • Law degree and admission to the bar
