job detailsjob summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Construction Program Manager to be part of an exciting team located at our client's Corporate Headquarters in Plantation, FL. As a Construction Program Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring the timely delivery of our client's practices and other projects. You will also be evolving the Construction PPM tools and processes. The Construction Program Manager will be responsible for supporting the Pre-Construction and Construction Project Delivery Team in routine admistrative, planning, forecasting and reporting activities. Driving Project Delivery automation and process improvement will be key role success criteria. Candidates must be comfortable delivering very black and white solutions from grey requirements. This position reports to the Associate Director of Pre-Construction Project Delivery. The Construction Program Manager serves a fundamental role in the support of the Construction Project Delivery team who implement on premise construction solutions to complex and often changing business requirements. Also includes coordination with the IT Infrastructure teams to ensure on time installation. Program Management of vet care practice construction, including multiple simultaneous construction projects at various stages of build out, risk management and reporting as well as managing project / program status reporting to the business Program Management team.

Coordinate with the Real Estate Team on the client's pipeline, practice delivery timeline and status.

Support the Pre-Construction planning and design activities to ensure timely delivery during the construction stage.

SmartSheet System Administration including product vision and roadmap, keeping stakeholders up to date on the deliverables and timelines

Manage the RFP process, including soliciting and evaluating bids from subcontractors and suppliers

Construction Project Delivery Process Documentation, Improvements and Automation for SmartSheet and other integrated systems used by project team resources

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, incorporating input from various stakeholders.

Collaborate with construction managers to ensure seamless transition from preconstruction to the construction phase.

QA Auditing of PPM Tools, Processes and Artifacts for the Construction Project Delivery Team

Sharepoint Administration for Construction Project Delivery Team

Support Construction Project Delivery Demand / Resource Planning

Management Reporting for Construction Project Delivery Team

Work with Construction Project Managers and with IT Infrastructure Engineering to resolve risks and bottlenecks to help deliver their products and services on schedule to meet customer and business Program Management Team needs

Analyze customer needs across teams and projects, identifying commonalities and working with team members to build tools that meet these common needs and use cases

Coordinate activities across different organizational functions for activities undertaken by Construction

Review and report on progress for Construction Project Delivery initiatives/projects, managing project risks - including the development of contingency plans

Performs other duties as assigned
