They will develop a deep understanding of the overall P&T strategic plan and specific P&T teams to ensure overall alignment with associated plans and teams. They will apply standardized framework and models, such as NIST CSF and CMM, to ensure strategy is holistic and connected, leveraging industry top practices. This role will work within targeted technology, cyber and business areas to support and manage plans to measure and increase the resilience of TD.
Work within P&T Governance leadership and teams to understand, recommend, and apply strategies and facilitate inclusion in team execution plans.
Contribute to data-informed plans to ensure alignment across teams and help to pull the specific work activities together through common objectives and aligned direction.
Develop and deepen subject matter specific and industry relationships and apply best practices in IT governance.
Apply measures of strategic adoption and value realization to provide ongoing insights into aligned aspects of strategy adoption.
Apply and integrate work within shared outcome-driven cyber strategies that support TD's overall risk vision and business objectives.
Support and collaborate with other strategy practitioners and teams across P&T and TD to understand, apply, and align strategiesDepth & Scope:
Participates on projects of moderate to high complexity
Acts as a key resource and subject matter expert in at least one technology niche/ field and/or line of business
Advanced knowledge of one or more technology controls / security domains, disciplines and practices
Proficient to advanced knowledge of organization, technology controls / security/ risk issues
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Information security certification / accreditation an asset
5-7 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications :
5-7 years of experience with 1+ years working in strategy development and implementation, preferably in areas of cyber and technology strategy.
Ability to contribute to and support materials to support executive-level engagement that convey complex technical strategies in simple terms.
Ability to quickly understand current state data and develop clear and concise 'stories' to inform status and direction.
Demonstrated experience presenting to peers and executives with confidence and clarity.
Successfully delivers upon commitments while rapidly adapting to evolving priorities.
Ability to work independently and drive to make changes that contribute to a better colleague and customer experience.
Strong people skills with focus on relationship-building and shared outcomes
Strong communication, analysis, and collaboratoin capabilities with ability to partner with peers and team members.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to challenge in a productive manner
Knowledge of banking industry and the regulatory environment
Ability to to break down problems and opportunities into logical parts and contribute to plans to systematically address.
Maintains current and emerging cyber and technology industry awareness
Familiarity with cyber risk and regulatory frameworks like NIST-CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Critical Security Controls, PCI-DSS, FAIR, MITRE, or equivalent
