This versatile role encompasses a variety of responsibilities across front-of-house and kitchen stations, including counter service, phone orders, pizza oven operation, expo duties, salad preparation, sautéing, and more. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly at the counter and assist with placing orders efficiently
Manage incoming phone calls, take accurate orders, and relay information clearly to team members
Operate the pizza oven safely and effectively to prepare delicious hot pizzas in accordance with standards
Prepare fresh salads and assist with food assembly on the expo line to ensure timely service
Sauté ingredients as needed for various menu items, maintaining high quality and safety standards
Support food handling procedures by adhering to proper sanitation practices and food safety regulations
Assist with bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness of workstations, and restocking supplies throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer experiences
Communicate effectively with team members about order status, special requests, or any issues that arise
Maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and efficiency
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
Knowledge of food preparation techniques including salad assembly, sautéing, and pizza oven operation is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Ability to multitask efficiently in a lively setting while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Experience in hospitality or hotel food service roles is advantageous but not mandatory
Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive approach to assisting colleagues during busy periods
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
