Sous Chef – Private Club
We are seeking a hands-on, service-oriented Sous Chef to lead our lunch service at a prestigious and historic private club. This is a full-time, salaried position ideal for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a team-first environment and enjoys the seasonality of the South Florida lifestyle.
Seasonal Schedule:
Peak Season: October – May (high volume, fast-paced)
Off-Season: Lighter summer workload
Lunch shifts very little nights
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading busy expo during lunch service
Creating daily, club-focused culinary features
Maintaining strict sanitation standards
Coaching and training kitchen staff in a positive, growth-oriented manner
Managing ordering and inventory control
Executing both à la carte and buffet-style service
Demonstrating a strong understanding of private club dining expectations and culture
Maintaining clear and professional communication with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef
