Duties
Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
Upsell additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Experience
Previous experience in customer service or guest services is preferred
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing payments effectively.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
A proactive approach to upselling and enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
