We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Catering Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
This part-time position requires someone who is skilled in food preparation and can maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Head Chef and kitchen staff
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen for catering events
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a line cook in a professional kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work the required hours (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
