Server for Italian restaurant

SERVERS - $900 - $1,200 per week.

Looking for Servers to join our team full time at busy Italian restaurant in the downtown Coral Gables - Miracle Mile.

Requirements:

3 or more years experience in full-service, fine dining establishments

Customer focused / outstanding social skills

Bilingual - English / Spanish

Previous and / or current jobs references with contact information

Fratellino Ristorante is located at the heart for Coral Gables on Miracle Mile. We are a small fine dining restaurant with a hectic dining room that’s usually fully booked on a daily basis. We pride ourselves in offering a warm, family feel environment with a top notch, old school service and attention to details. This has earned us numerous prizes and recognitions such as Best Italian Restaurant in Florida and Top 5 Restaurant in the US as of Yelp in 2024.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

Learn the food and wines menu and specials, and give our clients the excellent service they are accustomed to.

Guide guests through menus, answers questions thoroughly, and provides specific item suggestions and information about the establishment.

Take orders in a timely manner.

Write down all orders and inputs them into the point-of-sale system accurately.

Operate point-of-sale system with high level of efficiency and handles large amounts of currency.

Ensure guests receive immediate, friendly, and personalized service to enhance their dining experience.

When necessary, will occasionally assist host person with greeting and seating guests.

Maintain positive guest satisfaction by exceeding service expectations.

Handle guest complaints or directs them to a manager.

Practice proper cash handling procedures.

Ensure dining areas is clean and well presented at all times.

Maintain work areas by keeping utensils organized and clean.

Act as a final check on the quality of food and beverage items before they are served to guests and ensures appropriate garnishes and condiments are on plates.

Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.

Notifies manager/supervisor of low inventory and recommends new inventory; communicates opportunities and concerns.

Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management or supervisors and moves with a sense of urgency.

Understands and utilizes all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program and reports any accidents to management.

Weekly earnings estimation is with tip income calculated. Tips earned will vary by shift worked, skill and experience. Base pay for servers is $8.98/hr.
