We are seeking an administrative assistant to join our team to assist with front-desk duties and various operational functions. This is an entry-level office position where on-the-job training will be given. Please note, however, that this role will take place in a clinical setting where you will be interfacing closely with disabled and/or neurodiverse patients with varying levels of support needs, guardians, and clinical staff on a daily basis. As such, it is critical that you can operate in this environment while amaintaining the highest degree of professionalism and customer service.
This is a full-time hourly position. Remote work will not be available at this time.
Responsibilities
- Interface with parents/guardians and therapists through various communication channels (e.g. phone, Whatsapp, e-mail)
- Manage/update/track patient records throughout the various facets of the service life-cycle
- Assist with therapist on-boarding
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff
- Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
Qualifications
Required:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish - speaking and writing)
- Strong people skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills: General use and web navigation without assistance
Preferred:
- 2+ years of office/administrative experience and/or 1+ years working with children with disabilities.
