BILINGUAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT POSITION (HOMESTEAD)

Looking for a Full-time multitasking, punctual, and problem-solving Medical Assistant with/without experience for a busy Family/Medical Spa practice. FOREIGN MEDICAL DOCTORS WITH MEDICAL ASSISTANT LICENSE ARE WELCOME (Male and Female).
A positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude, excellent customer service, and patient empathy are necessary. Able to work in a FAST-paced environment as a TEAM.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a must.
The task consists primarily of:
1. Excellent patient management, greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner, answering the phone, checking voicemails, calling back patients, prescription refills, giving messages from the patients to the Doctor, and vice versa.
2. Review medical records, enter data into EMR, must be comfortable with technology (EMR, emailing and faxing, Word, Excel, Microsoft).
3. Drawing blood, taking vitals, taking EKGs, dressing changes, wound care, documenting procedures, prior authorizations, following all HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
4. Setting up, stocking, and cleaning exam rooms, rooming patients, preparing trays for procedures, doing IVs (training is included), preparing lab specimens, instruments sterilization and disinfection of rooms, and tracking the medical inventory.
5. Must be able to multitask, be proactive, work without supervision, be punctual, and also take directions well. Will be working closely with the Doctor.
6. Strong sense of Aesthetics, provide pre-and post-care instructions for medical and cosmetic procedures, assist in medical and cosmetic procedures, take before/after photos, educate and facilitate the sale of the products and aesthetic services.
