Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Supports Caretaker to provide compassionate care and support to a young lady with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and committed to enhancing the well-being and quality of life of our client.
Responsibilities:
-Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
-Provide companionship and emotional support to the client.
-Accompany the client to medical appointments, outings, and recreational activities if necessary.
-Administer medication as prescribed and ensure compliance with treatment plans.
-Assist with household tasks, such as light housekeeping and laundry.
-Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition.
-Communicate effectively with the client's family members and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
-Compassionate and patient demeanor.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the client.
-Reliable and punctual.
-Service specific training supporting the Agency for persons with disabilities population (provided by agency)
-FDLE level II background check and local background check must be completed before starting.
-Able to use internet/smart phone
-High-School Diploma
