Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dentistry, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care. This postion will be for Mondays and Wednesdays in Davie from 9am-4pm.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including chair side assisting and passing instruments
2. Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment
3. Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist
4. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions
5. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, and assist with ordering as needed
Provide support to other team members as necessary to ensure smooth operation of the dental practice
Qualifications:
Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
Current CPR certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in dental software and computer skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
