Researchers in Miami Lakes and Hialeah are studying new medicine to treat cognitive problems from schizophrenia. These include mind fog, memory issues, and focus issues.
If you have schizophrenia, you may be eligible to participate in the clinical trial, which lasts 6 weeks once you start. OUTPATIENT ONLY, meaning 3 in person visits (no overnight stay).
The treatment is DAILY ORAL PILLS, which you will use alongside any anti-psychotics you normally take
You must be between 18 and 55 years old
You must be available to come into the clinic, in person, 3 times over 6 weeks
You will receive $100–$150 for each in-person appointment you attend (with possible compensation for additional phone-based appointments, as well as travel)
