Job Description:
As a Surgical Tech / Surgical Assistant at Eden Plastic Surgery, you will play a key role in supporting our surgical team before, during, and after cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms with surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and necessary supplies
Assist the surgeon during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
Ensure proper handling of specimens and surgical equipment
Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical instruments and supplies
Assist with patient prep, positioning, and post-operative care as needed
Maintain the highest standards of sterile technique and infection control
Support the medical team with documentation and patient charting
Participate in daily OR setup, cleanup, and turnover
Requirements:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent training/experience
Minimum 1 year of surgical experience (plastics or aesthetic surgery preferred)
Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
CPR certification required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
