Job Title: Home Health Aide (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Reports to: Nursing Director/ Nursing Supervisor / Care Coordinator
Purpose: To provide care to patients in their homes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Home health aide must have documentation of successful completion of at least forty hours of training or successful passage of the competency test
Certified nursing assistant must have a State of Florida certification or their current CNA certificate from anther state
Must show the ability to speak, read, write in English, and follow oral and written instructions in English
Pass a Criminal Background check
Have a current negative TB test
Pass a Drug Test
Ability to communicate with clients and to remain calm under stress
Physical ability to lift and transfer clients
Ability to perform repetitive task using hands, bending, stooping and reaching
Have a valid Driver’s license and proof of car insurance
Ability to safely drive a car
