Job Summary
The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the HR department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave. Ensure and enforce company policies and practices with the Managers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resource Generalist ensures that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist with the onboarding and off boarding of Team Members.
Assist in maintaining accurate punch in/punch out and PTO records with manager.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Provide general administrative support, maintain records, organize files and calendar activities
Coordinate meetings and phone conferences and assist with planning Office/company events.
i.e. Birthdays, Networking Events, Ceremonies
Support staff as able with time keeping device or other time tracking device or software
Accept all letters and packages and distribute in a timely manner to executives and management as addressed. Return, forward and post outgoing mail as needed.
Track inventory and order office supplies and equipment
Maintain possession of internal office keys during work hours and provide supplies to office staff and management as needed
Generate reports as business needs require in support of Marketing Director
Distribute logs to managers and marketing personnel
Ensure front desk and lobby are neat, presentable, and equipped with all necessary supplies and common areas, restroom and kitchen area, remain equipped with appropriate supplies
Maintain employee data in Payroll and Time/Attendance platforms current
Assist in Open Enrolment

Fluent in English and Spanish
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
SHRM-CP a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
