This job involves preparation, cutting and shaping wood for the assembly of wood products. You must be able to work with both hand and power tools and read plans and blueprints, calculate measurements from blueprints, cut wood to exact dimensions and measure materials using tape measures and square. We are looking for someone who is a skilled problem solver who will be able to solve construction issues when they arise. Someone who is reliable and pleasant but who can also hold a grudge against contractors. Someone who will do whatever it takes to make sure that the job gets done, even if it means eating an entire pizza by yourself.
Responsibilities:
Work with wood and building materials.
Use power tools, such as nail guns and saws.
Nail wood together.
Measure wood and calculate measurements, such as cutting and jointing.
