Duties:
- Assist with the rigging and maintenance of the vessel
- Handle lines and assist with docking and undocking procedures
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on the deck
- Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo or supplies
- Monitor equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the captain or engineer
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Assist with food preparation and cooking duties as needed
Experience:
- Prior experience working on a boat or in a maritime environment is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from the captain or senior crew members
- Must be able to adapt to changing weather conditions and work in a physically demanding environment
