General contractor seeking MOT personnel to perform safety related tasks.
Maintenance of traffic (MOT), also known as temporary traffic control, is a process that ensures the safety of drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists while also protecting workers and equipment. MOT is used during road construction, maintenance to establish temporary traffic control zones and work zones. Must be able to drive company truck and trailer.
Duties will include (not limited to):
- Transportation of MOT devices and other light equipment and or trailers
- Set-up and breakdown of road work signage, cones, lane closures
- Flagging
- Inventory of MOT devices
- Organization of devices not being used
Pay will be based on experience and qualifications
Advanced/ Intermediate MOT certification is helpful, but not a requirement.
